Purpose Through Acceptance

Being an Empath and Working in HR

Empathy is on the rise as the newest corporate buzzword, it’s adding a new dynamic to our current cultural conversation. Employees are expecting their employers to understand how they are feeling about work and life overall. We are seeing an increase in job seekers desiring a workplace that cares. This shift has created a prime opportunity for us to utilize our empathic skills in the workplace. I began my HR career in the dark of my empathic skillset. For years I worked to shut this skillset off because of its powerful capacity to become a pathway for toxins into my own body.
