Are Your Dreams Revealing Your Soul's Path

Are Your Dreams Revealing Your Soul’s Path?

This month we’ve already chatted about the reason dreams occur as well as touched on literal translations of the symbolism that occurs in dreams. Now I want to take three giant steps backward and look at dreams from a big picture point of view. Let’s go beyond the reason they occur and move towards their purpose.

“Trust your instincts and your ability to know, see, feel, and hear the prophetic messages that are coming to you now from the Divine.”

-Doreen Virtue & Melissa Virtue

Dreams play a pivotal role in our awakening. When we awaken, we move closer to who we are and why we are here. Our authentic essence becomes our way of life, allowing us to finally break free of expectations established by others on how we should live our life.

This is why I absolutely treasure my dreams and so should you. No matter how absurd, painful or scary they may be – they are still hints of our deepest layers.

The card that served as inspiration for this week’s lesson boldly displayed the word prophecy. By definition, prophecy is a message that is claimed by a prophet to have been communicated to them by a deity. This might make you wonder, what do they mean by deity. Well, a deity is a supernatural being considered divine or sacred. Now I need to take a moment and get a little religious on you. So here is your warning, to stop reading if you’re not interested in reading what I am about to share.

The Divine, Source, Universe, God, however you identify the higher power, is within you. Therefore it makes perfect sense for the messages from the Divine to come from you, from the depths of your soul.

If you are questioning your purpose and identity, the answers are not outside of you but within. When we are physically awake, we fill our time with distractions and rarely engage in stillness that allows us to listen within. But when we sleep, Divine essentially gets prime time and it behooves us to pay attention.
