Courage At Work with Karin Hurt

Courage At Work with Karin Hurt

Season 1: Episode 49

Today’s world is calling us to have courage, to show up and to stand up. In this episode, Samm is joined by Karin Hurt, co-author of the new book, Courageous Cultures. Karin shares how courage in the workplace is requiring leaders to go first. Leaders must demonstrate the same openness and vulnerability that we want to see our teams. When we don’t go first, our employees don’t feel safe to speak up and instead of the dialogue we need to move our organizations forward we are met with silence. Karin reiterates that the solutions we are seeking are in our people, so to obtain these answers we must cultivate a culture with courage as a fundamental pillar.
