Why Healing is Needed in the Workplace
Our workplace practices are built on a basis that is unsustainable. Creating the perfect storm for inevitable burnout, organizational decline and disengagement. Our current state demands a complete overhaul of job design and organizational structures, one that embraces and celebrates humanity.
The idea that disengagement is strictly an outcome of workplace culture and variables like lack of appreciation, only scratches the surface. The truth is, disengagement is directly correlated to wellness. However, this wellness requires a look at the whole individual and aims to heal them physically, mentally and spiritually.
Our workplaces have shifted to be spaces where only facts are viewed as credible. Emotions and feelings which are the basis for connection and relationships, are viewed as the intangible touchy feely stuff. That stuff however is what links us to something greater. It makes mission and vision statements come alive. It moves Leaders to greatness and creates Legacies.
Are you regularly overwhelmed by the emotions of the your workspace and the world?
Have you been labeled as sensitive and underestimated by an introverted classification?
Have been laughed at for your optimistic viewpoint and belief in people?
Do your ideas seem outlandish to others that struggle to see the Ultimate Vision?
Are you unable to ignore humanity and believe it is a universal obligation to care for it in the workplace?
Do you recognize the pain and fear in others that mirrors what you have carried and experienced in the past?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, know that now is the time for change and you being to called to be a courageous catalyst for healing and how we move forward in the world of work.
The Intuitive Healing Art of Leadership
I wrote two books to share my vision for the workplace
Let me teach you how to heal yourself and then you can heal your people
About The HR Intuitive
It begins here, with our ability to connect innately to our people and to ourselves.
An Intuitive operates in the realm of things often not seen or recognized, due to a lack of sensitivity to the surroundings. This skillset is not magical and is one that everyone possesses. Unfortunately it is often underdeveloped or subconsciously blocked. An HR Intuitive utilizes these skills to craft organizational strategies centered on people.
The HR Intuitive contains 33 lessons to awaken your intuitive skill set. These lessons will allow you to hear once again, a voice that has long been suppressed, forgotten or ignored. It is this voice that awakens the healing art of Leadership, where we actively engage in restoring individuals to their true intention and make possible a level of greatness not yet experienced within our organizations.
About Workplace Healers
It’s time you realize that you were called to be a healer. The people variable within business has been one of the greatest mysteries, which can only be nurtured by an art equally as mystical. Our efforts to engage workforces and cultivate dream workplace cultures has had limited success for one sole reason, we have been ignoring the greatest variable, energy.
Energy collectively creates cultures and individually creates engagement. Our current struggling state is a result of a general lack of knowledge of how to care for this energy. In addition, the significant role that energy plays within our lives has been unconsciously ignored.
The journey to becoming a healer begins with you and Workplace Healers serves as a guide introducing you to personal healing and then expanding your consciousness to integrating energy care into business.
This is the path that makes our work as leaders game-changing, world-healing, and an absolute organizational necessity. HR was destined to be the great caretakers of workplace energies, the workplace healers, and understanding the energies at play is the first step in that journey.

The new illustrated covers, created by artist Alex Krigbaum, capture the spirit of each book by depicting specific animal teachers who will guide you through the lessons.
In The HR Intuitive, we begin to awaken the whale essence within. It’s time to open the jar and let this animal teacher be free.
The whale teaches you about listening to your inner voice, understanding the impact your emotions have on your everyday life, and following your own truth. When the whale enters your life, it may be time to closely examine where you are, the actions and emotions that have brought you to this point, and what you can do to alleviate existing drama and unrest and find peace. In Workplace Healers, we have three animal teachers sitting in a pine tree. The book will introduce you to each one respectively as you evolve and climb the tree.
Beginning on the ground with the groundhog. The groundhog invites us to find answers within by burrowing deeply. It is often said that when you dream of a groundhog it represents subconscious information coming to the surface. Therefore, this level is all about uncovering what you already know but have yet to verbalize or acknowledge. A huge component of this level is awakening your intuitive skill set which is what the previous book, The HR Intuitive, is all about. For our purposes here, we will burrow deep into the current state of organizational HR personalities and how they manifest. Understanding why we function the way we do on a daily basis creates a primer for further exploration and evolution.
Hidden halfway up somewhere in the branches the mourning dove awaits. The mourning dove represents peace and power. It provides a sign of hope to those who have been suffering. It represents the value your healing capacity will bring to your employees. In part two, we begin the act of cleansing and cultivation that will enable you to utilize your healing power. In addition, this process will allow you to experience a personal sense of peace and hope that you’ve been craving.
Up in the tippy top of the tree sits the hawk, watching and waiting. Many say that hawks represent a spiritual awareness, accompanied with the gift of sight. When hawks serve as a spirit animal for individuals, they are known for intelligence, adaptability and independence. For us, the hawk represents what is possible when the Dao is present in HR. This is something that I have yet to fully see myself, as we are deep in the trenches of healing work before we are able to truly vision.
The hawk represents what’s to come, what we will be and the way we will do it.
