Season 2: Episode 45
In Chinese Medicine, the kidneys are known as the energy storage tanks, which our very yang-filled lives drain quickly. In this episode of the HRart of It podcast, we focus on caring for our kidneys. The exercise Samm shares with us is a quick way to refill these tanks. It will come in handy when you need that little pick-me-up.
For the month of November, Samm is sharing the five most recommended Qigong exercises she has given to clients in 2021. Each week she’ll cover the intention and power of the exercise, and then we will practice together.
About Samm Smeltzer and Qigong:
Samm has playfully been referred to as the “Unicorn”, this comes from her eternal optimism for the possibilities of what the workplace could be. For the last decade, Samm has passionately pursued a journey to discover the missing elements for employee engagement within organizations. This path has primarily led her to studies in Spirituality and Eastern Medicine, discovering how much of a role having a professional purpose and passion is essential to employees. With her masters in Medical Qigong, Samm works to heal disengaged workplaces as well as heal individual clients.
