Gary Ware

Gary Ware, the Founder of Breakthrough Play, is a corporate facilitator, keynote speaker, certified coach, and self-proclaimed Creative Catalyst. Gary has over 14 years of experience in the corporate world holding various leadership positions. Being a multifaceted individual, Gary also comes with nearly a decade of experience as a performer in improv theatre. After experiencing burnout in his pursuit for success and happiness, he realized that what was missing was play. Committing to a life of play is what led Gary to discover his passion for facilitating. Gary uses the power of applied improvisation and other playful methods to assist people in unlocking creativity, confidence, and better communication. When Gary isn’t leading workshops or speaking, you can find him learning magic or off on an adventure with his wife Courtney and son Garrett.

About the Host

Samm Smeltzer

Samm is an HR Visionary and Medical Qigong Healer. In November 2021, she earned her Masters certification in Medical Qigong with Ted O’Brien at the East Coast Institute of Medical Qigong. As an HR Visionary, her decade-long pursuit of the missing elements for employee engagement within organizations led her down this path of merging Spirituality, Eastern Medicine and workplace wellness to create the potential for deep healing within our workplace cultures.

As a Medical Qigong Therapist, Samm’s clients come from a range of different backgrounds though she specializes in healing stress and burnout for professionals as well as coaching them back to their Connected Path. She is currently pursuing her doctoral certificate in Medical Qigong at the 3 Treasures School of Medical Qigong studying under Lisa VanOstrand.
