SuperCharged Intuition

Work Love TV Blog Header

Last Week…

Last week, as we concluded our animal inspired series, the Crow card revealed itself yet again but from a completely different deck. The second appearance of the crow gently reminded us that the lessons that started last week are still in progress. We need to continue with the work that was revealed this week.

We also revealed the Owl…whooo reminded us to trust the wisdom that comes from inside and referenced how our sensitivities and intuition can be supercharged during this time.

This week has been filled with heightened everything. Thanks to the lessons initially stirred up by the Crow, I spent this last week riding a roller coaster of emotions. But each emotional release felt necessary and healthy. I also found myself wrestling internally with the concept of trusting myself in regards to being intuitively guided on how to spend my days in quarantine. For instance, I greatly struggled with my decision to you Monday as a day of rest.It was my birthday and I attempted to embrace my best friend’s mentality of, I do what I want. However, I still felt a ping of guilt for not being more “productive.” What is always affirming for me, when I do surrender myself to listening inward is what occurs afterwards. I discovered the next day that the world has not ended and everyone that had to wait another 24-hours was fine. Hopefully, if I keep filling my bucket up with more of these days of affirmation that eventually I’ll trust my gut indefinitely.

The pivotal moment of the week though came while I was aimlessly scrolling instagram. I follow Collette Baron Reid who is the creator of the deck we were using last week. I paused on her post where she shared an image of an owl from, The Wisdom of the Oracle, another one of her decks. The card was titled, “Truth Be Told” and this is the message it shared:

There is the truth, which is the essence of a thing, and then there is a philosophical truth, subjective according to the adherent or believer. This is not a time for debate about which truth is truer. This is a time when you are called to proclaim it out loud, and be willing to be transparent, honest, and open in your communication with others and with yourself. Nothing less than surrender to the essence of what is, peeling off the layers of denial that kept you tied to an illusion, will set you free. Be authentic and gloriously flawed, and Spirit will answer with miracles. (Source)

The entire month, I had hoped beginning our journey with animal inspired decks would fill our days with random appearances by the animals presented. However, that was not the case until now. The owl randomly presented himself in a manner that almost directly mimicked the first appearance. But not only that, I have a picture of an owl by my bed that watches over me every night. He was a recent addition to the bedroom and perhaps had more to share than I knew. These weekly prompts are invitations to listen from our intuition and if we accept it the whispers are truly beautiful.

This Week…

Another individual I follow on instagram is the beautiful individual, Kris Carr. She is currently hosting a 7-Day Self-Care Challenge and it was her call to renew your body and mind through simplicity that inspired me to utilize her deck for our next round.

Kris Carr’s deck, Crazy Sexy Love Notes is 52 powerful reminders to love and appreciate yourself from the inside out. These notes were designed with the intention to help you care for yourself at the deepest level.

This week our love note was, “believe.” It asked us to notice the connections and synchronicities, knowing that the stuff that’s meant to be easily falls into place. Everything is possible.

Discussion: Share with us in the comments below what connections and synchronicities do you witness. What is easily falling into place?

I hope this week’s pause and practice serve you!
