You are in the middle of working on a big special project but you need to leave by 5 to make your personal evening plans. You realize that you will not be able to finish the project if you leave at that time. The project isn't technically due today, but it would be largely beneficial if it was completed before the deadline. What do you do?

I would determine with my current workload and schedule if I would have time to complete it by the deadline. If I can I would leave at 5, but if I couldn't I would stay late to complete it.

I would see if I could rearrange my personal plans so I could stay and finish.

I typically start working on the tasks that need to be completed immediately.

I typically start making rounds throughout the workplace with the intention to build and maintain meaningful relationships.

You just attended a fantastic conference that has inspired and motivated you. You return to work filled with great ideas on how to update some old policies and changes to make the organization stronger. You prepare a proposal to share with Leadership and it get rejected. What do you do?

I would continue to be persistent in explaining why the changes are needed in hopes of changing their opinion. This could include additional research and fact-finding to strengthen my case.

I would utilize the strong relationships I have already built within the organization to help me position the proposal with support so it is implemented.
